Canceling QuickBooks online subscription step by step

QuickBooks is accounting software that provides assistance in your finance management. As you know QuickBooks is not an open source software, you have to buy a subscription according to your business.

 QuickBooks offers you various pricing ranges. You can easily buy subscriptions from any vendor.

But what if you don’t like the service of QuickBooks? What if you are shutting down your business? In such a condition you have to cancel or stop the subscription.

Cancel it manually

You can easily cancel the subscription by yourself with the help of a phone.

Cancelling on phone

For cancelling via phone you need to call on the customer care number. Talk to the agent and after a certain period of time your subscription will be cancelled. You get a message for affirmation after cancellation.

Cancel it online

For cancelling it online, you have to follow these simple steps.

  • Open your QB and click on the  gear icon.
  • Now select Account and settings.
  • A new window opens with lots of options, click on Billing and Subscription.
  • Here you see two options change your plan and call customer care
  • You have to click on continue to cancel.
  • You have to fill in some information related to your account and click on submit.

 You will receive a mail which states that your subscription was successfully cancelled.

How to unsubscribe QuickBooks

QuickBooks provides a trial version before you would buy their subscription. If you don’t like the service, you can unsubscribe it 

  • Click on gear.
  • Select Account and settings
  • Click on Billing and Subscription.
  • Click on Cancel the trial version.
  • After that click on submit.

What if you have bought it from the App Store?

If you have downloaded Quickbooks from the Play store and want to cancel your subscription, follow a few simple steps.

  1. From Google Play Store
  • Open your Play Store account.
  • Click on Payment and Subscription.
  • Select Subscription.
  • Open QuickBooks.
  • Then, go to manage my subscription.
  • Click on cancel.

       From Apple Store

  • Open your App store/itunes.
  • Enter your Apple ID
  • Go to the quickBooks.
  • Select Subscription and click on Cancel.

  1. If you are cancelling your one year subscription or we say the subscription you have been paying for, then your data will be available on QB in read-only form for 1 year from the date of cancellation.
  1. If you are cancelling your free or trial version subscription then your data will be available for 30 days in read-only form from the date of cancellation.
