How to make immunity boosting kadha

Corona virus came into our lives around march 2020 and it has changed how we lived our lives in almost all the aspects we can think of. For making this kadha you will need: 

 5-6 Tulsi leaves, 

1 Black or 2 green cardamoms, 

½ cup sliced raw turmeric,

 1 tbsp cloves, 

1 tbsp black peppercorns, 

1 stick cinnamon,

 5-6 tbsp sliced ginger and 

1 tbsp munakka/dry grapes 

How to make the Kadha?

In a mortar and pestle, brush, peel, and coarsely pound the raw turmeric and ginger. Then, in 4 cups of sugar, boil it until the colour turns yellow and you can smell ginger. On medium fire, this should take 5-6 minutes. Then, in the turmeric-ginger broth, add the remaining ingredients and let it simmer for at least 15-20 minutes. Since the water would evaporate, change the volume to create the desired number of cups. In a cup, pour 1 teaspoon honey and strain the kadha. When warm, take a drink.
